You might remember my post a few months ago about the graduation dessert table that I helped my friend Toni with – it was amazing! Well folks, she’s done it again!! She planned THE MOST ADORABLE monster party for her twins that were turning 2. I asked her permission to take pictures so I could post on my blog, but I can’t take credit for anything except the pictures. You are going to die…there are so many fun and creative ideas here, so get ready for some serious pictures and eye candy!
Let’s start with the photo booth that she made as you come in the front door…is that so cute, or what!!??

Also in the entryway and throughout the party are these darling banners that Toni made by sewing together random monster things incorporating the bright colors of the party. So cute and easy to do!
Here are the paper products and other monster decor spread throughout the party area.
And now for the dessert table…WOW! There are so many great, DIY ideas here. I think the colors of the party just really stand out and scream FUN! 
The center of the dessert table was the cake. I just love the googly eyes stuck on marshmallow pops – so creative!
And now for the rest of the candy and sweets on the dessert table, starting with rock candy and candy kabobs (which I will totally be doing for my next party!)

Sam’s Club made the cupcakes and Toni added the eyes on top using a peach ring for the outside, stcking a small gumball in the middle and a candy eyeball in the center – very creative!
Toni made these darling candy cones for the guests to carry home all of their treats from the dessert table. Again…so dang cute!!
And these cute little guys are headbands for the kids to wear at the party!
Last but not least, the drinks. Seriously, where does she come up with this stuff??
Toni’s twins are a boy and a girl, so I think this monster theme is just PERFECT for a mixed party like that. This would also be a really fun Halloween Party theme for younger kids.

I’ve seen drinks like that at grocery stores like Target or WalMart that are bottled water. She just took the labels off and added the googly eyes

Hi. What great pictures and party. I am doing a monster party for my son’s 3rd birthday party. I was wondering how she made the headbands? The kids will love those. Also, wondering how she made the photo booth. Is it out of cardboard? How did she make the monsters in it? And, I am worried the rowdy boys would destroy the photo booth in a flash. Did you have this issue? Thanks for your help and posting this great party!!
Hi Sara, I think the headbands were made by attaching colored, bendable wire to the clear headbands with hot glue and then she attached the white pom poms and eyes to the wires as well, with hot glue. I’m not sure how she made the photobooth exactly, but it wasn’t made out of cardboard, I think it was MDF wood, because it was very sturdy. The monsters were made by cutting the monster shapes out of furry fabric she found online and then adding the printable mouths and eyes to them. Have fun planning!
I absolutely love this party and am planning my sons monster party! I love the round monster heads that almost look like pillows sitting on the water bottles. do you by chance know where they came from? thank you!

To make the the marshmallow pops, insert a long lollipop stick into a marshmallow. Then melt Wilton brand candy melts and dip your marshmallow about 3/4 of the way into the candy melts. Add colored sprinkles while the candy melts are still wet and then let dry.
