Since St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, I thought this lime green, white & silver bridal shower I put together for a client last year would be great to share now 🙂 Lime green, white & silver with black accents were the bride’s wedding colors, so my client requested these colors for the bridal shower. If you see some of the same elements in this shower as you did in my 50th wedding anniversary party, that’s because it was for the same client and she requested some of the same things.
It was a family shower and guests brought potluck food items, so I helped with the dessert table and some decor.
Above the dessert table hung a banner that said “Here Comes The Bride” which was made with silver glitter letters backed with green scrapbook paper. A large group of green, white and silver balloons gave the corner some more color.
The beautiful desserts were obviously the star of the show, except for the bride, of course! 😉 My seriously talented friend Laura made these fabulous desserts which included Triple Chocolate Mousse Tarts, Peanut Butter Bars, Coconut Truffle Cakes, Caramel Chocolate Tarts and some little green M&M cups – because the bride & groom’s initials are both M’s.
A green, white and black fabric runner was placed down the center of the table. Paper picks and simple flowers placed in silver spray-painted glass jars and vases adorned the table. Small votive candles were also used to add a little warmth to the table.
If you’re thinking of throwing a St. Patrick’s Day party, maybe you could use some ideas from this bridal shower for your event!
