[…] Rainbow chevron birthday tags that I made for my daughter’s school class last year! […]
]]>Hi Lisa! We just got a note from our school saying we couldn’t bring in a bunch of balloons, flowers, gift baskets, etc. but luckily they said we could still do the treats if the teacher’s okay with it! I can understand why you’d be sad – I would be too! You need to have a little bit of fun on your child’s birthday! By the way, I saw the darling Farm Party you created with Lia Griffith – she (and yourself!) are amazing! Hope to see more collaborations between you two! Thanks for visiting!
]]>Thanks Lynette! Love you!!
]]>This is my favorite way to package up cupcakes! So darn cute.
We just got a letter home from school saying that, in addition to no homemade treats, they will “not be celebrating birthdays” in class…we can’t even bring in store-bought treats or a take-home favor or balloons! Sheesh, total buzz kill. I was a teacher for 10 years before I had kids, so I understand not taking away instructional time for a party, but I think their new policy is a little extreme. As a party-obsessed mama, it makes me sad. Guess I’ll just have to hand-deliver a special lunch to her instead.
