I shared this party last week over at A Blissful Nest and wanted to share with my readers as well! I know there are a lot of classic Disney fans out there and this Mickey Mouse Party that Julie of Julie Marie Portraits planned for her little guy’s 2nd birthday is just darling! Character-themed parties can sometimes be hard to pull off without being too cheesy but Julie did a wonderful job with it!
Here’s the birthday boy Jake sitting at the dessert table…isn’t he a cutie??!! The dessert table consisted of an amazing Mickey Mouse cake as the centerpiece, along with Mickey Mouse cake pops and adorable cookies.
I love the blue and white striped table cloth for the dessert table mixed with the red and white stripes and chevron patterns used throughout the party decor and printables – fabulous combination! The red chalkboard behind the dessert table is the perfect backdrop for the party.
Red balloons above the dessert table and large red balloons at the party table are fabulous decorations and really brighten up the party area.
Strawberries served in red and white striped cups are great to offset all the sugary sweets! The blue and white polka dot hats coordinate wonderfully with the theme. Guests were given fun Mickey Mouse crayons for their party favor – perfect for 2 year olds, or really any young kids!
The Mickey Mouse cake is absolutely fabulous…seriously amazing details! It traveled 6 hours in the car and made it safely to the party!
Thanks so much Julie for letting me share this fabulous Mickey Mouse party with my readers…you did a wonderful job! For more details, visit Julie’s blog HERE.
